•Competitive Analysis
Our clients rely upon us for accurate and understandable analysis. More than just providing numbers and spreadsheets, we specialize in the clear communication of complex subjects. Sue Lyn Schramm’s work has been used in several successful public advocacy campaigns and board briefings. Among our successful past projects have been:
•Policy Analysis
Advised the Hospice Network of Maryland on proposed state regulations affecting Certificate of Need (CON) for hospices in that state. Using material provided by Schramm Associates, Maryland hospices succeeded in changing the state’s draft regulations in their favor.
•Analysis for Advocacy
Provided research and analysis for The San Diego Association of Hospitals in a successful effort to improve county funding for charity care. One of the keys to this effort was the creation of compelling graphs to illustrate the plight of San Diego’s hospital providers.
•Competitive Analysis
Image analysis for Fannie Mae, providing a comparative study of images used in websites and marketing materials by other financial services firms. At the client’s request, this project was done with a lightning-quick turnaround.
•Market Analysis
Demographic and market analysis are among our core services. We regularly provide market share and environmental reports for a range of health care providers and insurers.
•Business Planning and Feasibility Analysis
We have prepared business plans for a variety of health care ventures. Among our recent projects, Schramm Associates performed a feasibility study for a health care provider evaluating estimated demand for inpatient health services. Our analysis incorporated the latest demographic information and estimated use rates, startup costs and budget pro formas, and estimated the time to break even on a variety of scenarios for building.
Analysis & Advocacy Services
Analysis is worthwhile only if it allows clear communication and decision making. Successful advocacy and planning depend upon information that is understandable and usable.
